After the death of his father, Mauro, an Italian filmmaker living in Panama, encounters a lifeless body on a road in the middle of the jungle. He tries to revive him with a chest compression, the person comes back to life for a few seconds, and then passes away again. In front of this particular coincidence he embarks on an intimate journey into uncharted territories, looking for a dialogue with death.

Mauro immerses himself in intimate stories of unusual people that deal with extreme and indefinite spaces, challenging viewers to reflect on their own perceptions of the physical and symbolic frontiers of life and death.

"Wild Gleaming Space" is a visually stunning and emotionally profound documentary that offers an opening into deeper understanding amidst the backdrop of loss and the ever-present mysteries of existence.
